Migrating From Dual Boot on 1 Drive to Dual Boot on 2 Drives

Post by thenewlinuxmint »

I currently dual boot Windows 10 and Linux Mint on a single drive. I am preparing to get another drive shortly, and want to move Windows 10 to that new drive. That should be easy--and I'm assuming I can just use GParted to expand my Linux Mint install to use the entirety of the original disk after everything is said and done.

My question is: will the Linux Mint bootloader automatically recognize Windows 10 as being on the new drive?
