My Sabrent USB 3.0 To Sata External Hard Drive Docking Station continuously connects and disconnects when connected to a USB 3.0 port. I can connect it to any USB 2.0 port and the drive works fine. The Dock has its own power source so the power form the USB 3 port is not the issue. Anyone have a solution to this issue?
Running Linux Mint 19
Thanks!

Re: USB 3.0 HDD docking station issues in Mint 19
I have the same dock. I had to install a PCIe card to have USB 3. I have a lot of trouble trying to get it to mount the drives. If I do get them to mount without freezing up the system it works fine. Cinnamon 19.1

Look into it's power settings, it will spin down the drives for power saving.
