Greetings All,
My base question does Linux Mint 19 support RAID configured hard drives? I have gone to install on a purchased old computer 4 or 5 years old that has a RAID 1 setup. Looked like It was going through the install with issue, but after reboot I just get a flashing cursor in the upper left corner.

I installed Mint 18.3 to a two disk RAID 0 array so I don't think Mint 19 wouldn't support it 
What you should do is boot the installation media, mount the RAID mapper device an take a look to see what's there.
