Hide the BitLock-Windows OS Partition in the explorer

Post by lolokatz »

Hi,

I have installed LM 20.1 on my new Dell Inspiron 15 3000 in DualBoot with Win10.

In the explorer the Win-OS partition is shown the explorer (as encrypted) and I would like to hide it. In the "Disks"-app there is no change possible (probably because of the encryption).

I modified fstab and added this line, which doesn't have any effect:

PARTUUID=8bbad058-3621-4f22-950e-fa7c5f18433e none BitLocker noauto 0 0

Code: Select all

blkid
is giving me following output for this partition (and in particular no UUID number):

Code: Select all

 /dev/nvme0n1p3: TYPE="BitLocker" PARTLABEL="Basic data partition" PARTUUID="8bbad058-3621-4f22-950e-fa7c5f18433e"
Does anybody have a clue?
Thanks in advance!
L.
