Internal HDD for backup won't go to stby without authentication.

Post by nekeke »

Hello:
I'm new to Linux.
My system is Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon.
I have three HDD.
I use "1,0TB Hard Disk" (/dev/sda) -internal- and "320 GB Hard Disk" (/dev/sdb) -USB- as backup devices only. So, I want them most of the time in sby except for the few minutes to run the backup daily.
In "Disks" (gnome-disk-utility 3.36.1) I have set both of them to go to standby in 2 minutes.
The 320GB (USB) goes to standby automatically with no problem at all but the 1,0TB (internal) do not: I have to authenticate with my password to put it in sby.
Please, see the attached screenshots.
Any help will be much appreciated.
