[SOLVED] Merge partitions
Hello. I'de like to merge two partitions. sda8 is where the OS (Linux Mint 20.1 Xfce) is intalled and sda3(empy) is the partition i want to merge. I've seen some other post but I could find out how to do it with gparted in live mode. As you can see I'm a noob but I really loved the linux distros i've tried. Thnaks in advance.

Re: Merge partitions
In the figure:
Sda8 is inside Sda4 and Sda3 is outside.
Suggested maneuver (boot from installation media):
- Delete sda3
- Increase sda4 from the right
- Increase sda8 from the right
Back up your data beforehand, tampering with partitions can lead to data corruption.

Re: Merge partitions
You'll see it as soon as you delete sda3. You will have space on the right of sda4, which is where you will extend sda4 into. When you've done that, you will have space on the right of sda8. Rinse, repeat.
