Hi,
I'm trying to format add files to my USB 2.0 thumb drive. It's detected by Disks and GParted, and terminal as /dev/sdb. It isn't being read by the file manager, and when I try to format it it claims the drive isn't there when it actually is. I've tried everything to get it up and running. Need help and a walkthrough on how to fix this problem. It's happening with all my thumb drives on all my usb ports...all brand new computer and brand new drives.
