Load/Unload Count very high

Post by Menard »

Hello

I check regularly some hard disks and since I installed LM 20.1 on an external USB hardisk (Seagate ST500) the Smart item 193 (c0) exploded and it appeared some 8 sectors with 05 is ok but on c5 c6 ... raw value is 8, so it is possible that with my system this disk is too often reloaded and that can have cause damages on these sectors
Do you know if applications do this on Linux, I ve read something like that concerning Ubuntu

nb : only my root is on this disk
