I have a Thinkpad X230 (Linux Mint 20.3) and X260 (Win 10)
Just a dumb question. Can I just swap the SSD so that I can use linux in X260 while leaving X230 with Win10 (I dont use much Windows but just want to keep one just in case) ?

Re: X230 to X260 Swapping SSD
As another Thinkpad owner: I would simply try it out. It will probably work and if not, you can swap it back. Make a Timeshift snapshot, so that you can reverse changes to settings and drivers if need be.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!

Re: <Solved> X230 to X260 Swapping SSD
Thanks. Actually, I found out that my x230 is not SSD . So, no point for swapping.
Now, I will most likely install Linux in x260 and transfer settings from x230 to x260
