ext4 mount error

Post by tashimee »

I have tried this several times and the same thing happens every time I try. I am running linux mint 19.3. I have tried to format my disks to ext4 and they work fine for a about 2 or 3 reboots, then I get mount error every time I try to mount the drives. I have:
320 Gb - 1 Linux mint 19.3
1 T - 1 Windows 7
4 T - 3 NTFS
8 T - 3 NTFS
10 T - 7 NTFS
14 T - 2 NTFS
18 T - 4 NTFS

I would like to format all my disks to ext4 or ext3. Can anybody tell what I can do?

1. Take a photo of the error.
I can't read minds or predict.
If you learn to predict, I can try.

2. Disks usually have SMART enabled.
So you can check log about errors inside GSmartControl app

Example pictures
- about hard drive
https://a.fsdn.com/con/app/proj/gsmartc ... /max/max/1
- about ErrorLog

The damaged disk must be replaced.

3. Check RAM
- Maybe from GRUB you can
- From live-CD / USB you can from UBCD .iso https://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html?=mtu4
There is Memtest86 and Memtest86+ tools.
