Specifically a 1TB NVMe in a Sabrent USB enclosure (max speed 1GBps per crystal)

I discovered this as I am briefly on win10pro22H2 because not able to solve laggy issues with Mint (did swappiness and a few others),

and noticed that my little enclosure is now cold. All the time I was running Mint, it was very warm to HOT.

Wondering why and maybe how to stop it!!!!!!!!

EDIT: Note: this particular drive is NOT mentioned in fstab.
This drive is 900GB NTFS and 100GB ext4. I have not yet used the ext4 partition. I use the NTFS mainly for backups on windows.
