I have all my files in a HDD formated in win xp (ntfs) 80 gigs ,there isnt a OS in it , i used it as a slave for another drive with XP , i want to use it or transfer the files with my linux mint system. What can i do????
I was thinking that i can make a partition in that HDD free space for linux and use a program that read both systems transfers those files... its that a good idea , ????? i dont want to lose the information in that HDD becouse it has a lot of data i keep for many years.
So help me.......Please

Install the latest version of mintDisk. It'll mount your NTFS partition automagically. :)
