I'm just getting Mint to how I like it and I don't want to mess anything up. I want to delete a partition on a spare HD that has a Fedora installation on it. Right now that OS shows up in grub and Mint mounts it to the desktop. I'm going to make the whole disk NTFS, since I can access it with Mintdisk (That is, I'm deleting Fedora and the whole Linux partition).
Question: Do I have to make any changes to grub or fstab before I delete the partition? I'm wondering if Mint will complain if the partition/OS is suddenly not there upon reboot.
Sorry if it's a silly question. I want to avoid a reinstall. Thank you!
Note that there is no entry for the NTFS partition because I deleted it when I installed Mintdisk (which is AWESOME, by the way).
