I've got a Netbook with an SD card reader which I'm desperately trying to get to work. I'm running Linux Mint 11 and have split up the computer's HD into a swap partition, a partition to mount / and one to mount /home. I'm trying to use the machines SD card reader to auto mount my camera's memory card. At the moment I've got it to mount through using the mount command in terminal and have also tried adding to the fstab which caused problems during start-up so chickened out and copied back my back-up copy.
cat /etc/fstab outputs:
What do I have to add to the fstab for the card to auto mount -I believe it too is /dev/sdb1?# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
# Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier
# for a device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name
# devices that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc nodev,noexec,nosuid 0 0
# / was on /dev/sdb2 during installation
UUID=07256c27-278f-4aac-89c5-6c86a321b4dd / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
# /home was on /dev/sdb3 during installation
UUID=4d3a8e8b-f45d-470f-b0ff-453401f572e2 /home ext4 defaults 0 2
/dev/sdb1 none swap sw 0 0
Any help would be most appreciated, cheers
