[SOLVED] printer won't print since upgrading to Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon

i try to print but the job does not work and says in the priter task without gettnig printed.

why is that?

do you have a clue on how to fix this?

Since you don't state what model your printer is and how it is connected to the machine(s) you upgraded to Mint 21, how can we have a clue?

i don't know how to purge..

i installed a fresh mint installation of the latest cinnamon version and i still can't print.

perhaps i will need to download the drivers and follow instructions?

From the information you provided from that requested by pdc_2 we see

Brother_HL_L2350DW_series_USB

as the name of a print queue automatically set up when the printer is plugged into a USB port. This should show up in print dialogs like Firefox. Can you not print using the entry? Can you print with

If not, there is another way of getting printing going.

You should be able to print from all programs.

- i did the duplex setting but still get it printer on each sheet of paper separately.
- it also takes a long time until it starts to print..
-and i want to ask.. how can i know on how many sheets of paper will be used after i fix the two sides printing problem?
