Postby Hardball45 » Sun Jan 06, 2013 2:30 pm

I want to purchase a DYMO label maker but can not find anywhere in the forums that lists if it is compatable or not. if someone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You may also search for Ubuntu compatibility with your intended purchase. You can see the Ubuntu release on which your Linux Mint release is based here: http://www.linuxmint.com/oldreleases.php

A quick search turns for example this up for Linux Mint 12: http://wiki.birth-online.de/know-how/ha ... der-ubuntu. Seems like their devices will not be supported out of the box, but there are ways to get them to work. I'd suggested doing an Internet search specifically for your intended purchase model name and the Ubuntu release on which your Linux Mint release is based.

OpenPrinting is an excellent source of printing advice for OpenSource software

for the DYNO range

those listed are said to work perfectly with linux
