upgrading

If you want to do an upgrade ,and you need to backup your printer install files ,are they in your Home directory or are they indifferent directories.

Did you download the printer install files manually or did they come bundled with the system? I would just try printing while in the live environment before you upgrade and act from there.
I think they'd be with the rest of the CUPS stuff, either in etc or usr. I don't know for sure though. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

The printer in question is a Brother DCP-115C; and it always has been a pain in the neck to install. Not as easy as HP ones.
