I would just a soon not contribute to Bill Gates's created mountain of highly proprietary, highly toxic mountain of electronic waste. These scanners are very close to running under Xsane if I can find what is missing. I've been in /etc/sane.d and everything looks the same between Mint versions 13 and 17. There has to be something additional. Can anyone give me a clue what additional I can look at?
The scanners don't come up under the Xsane app or under Gimp
