How to get PPD file for CANON PIXMA IP1300?

Hi all,
I have an old printer Cannon Pixma ip1300. I wish to operate it in my linux mint "Sonya".
I has been really frustrating to restart into windows just to print some files. I am currently using turboprint software which works really great but unfortunately it is on a 30 days trail period.
I was hoping if you guys could help me get the ppd file or an alternative option so I could operate my printer.

I know that the model is not supported. But people have somehow managed to make the ppd file to use it eventually. I mean there is a ppd file generated for my device after installing turboprint but as soon as I uninstall turboprint, the ppd does not work. It has some kind of dependency on the software. I was hoping for a solution to work around that.

I am not sure, but if you are lucky the ip1300 may be the same (instruction set) as my ip1600.
If so then take a look at my recent post under the "Printers and Scanners" section of the forum, in the topic "Installing Canon Pixma Printers".
