I am looking to buy a new printer.
for now I had 2 HP printers without a problem on linux as they worked plug&play.
however I am disappointed in HP quality so I am looking in different directions now.
I am more in the way of buying canon G2400 because of better printing quality but I was not able to find out any drivers for linuxmint. Is maybe anyone here with canon G2000 series to tell me if it is possible to get it work?
epson L382 have some drivers on their website for linux, so looks more like a safe bet, but still if anyone have any experience with this two printers I will be happy to hear them.

so I see Epson offer a full-feature driver for the L382; many of their printers get the generic driver;
Canon offer drivers for the G3000 and the G4000 series printers; they offer the cnijfilter2-5.30-1-deb package; ........ that seems to power many of their recent inkjets: one package covers many; however for the G1000 and G2000 this is not offered; perhaps one could edit the ppd file but safest perhaps to see if one can stretch to the G3000 series printer for assured support;
