Hi, My first post is this. I had to buy a new printer and decided on the xp-245. I cannot get it installed on my Linux Mint 18 pc.
Being a Senior Citizen, I am not very up to date on PC's. I would be grateful for a simple way to complete this if at all possible.

Start here. Epson has some Linux drivers for their printers.

Also check here. They may not have the exact model, but you can get the closest one. For example: mine is an XP-640, but I installed the XP-620 series.
