Connecting Mint to Windows 10 Shared HP Laserjet 1020 Assistance
Would someone step me through the process of connecting Mint Linux to a shared printer through Windows 10. I don't care if i use smb or another method. Any help is apppreciated as all attempts have met failure. Thanks.

Ended up utilizing my synology device to share the printer. Would be interested on hearing ideas to crack the code instead of the workaround.

Did you try HPLIP? The few HPs I had I had no problems connecting to once I installed it.
I have travelled 37629424162.9 miles in my lifetime
One thing I would suggest, create a partition as a 50G partition as /. Partition the rest as /Home. IF the system fails, reinstall and use the exact same username and all your 'stuff' comes back to you.
