Filter, Broken pipe, stopped, failed - got them all.Hp wireless on LM 17.3, it worked sweet until 'one day'... I tried everything from printer off, renaming the printer, printer reinstalls, Cups reinstalls, hplip, hp doctor etc, filter upgrades... finally - after backing-up everything ready for a OS reinstall - I was doing another printer reinstall and ticked the IPP network instead of the HP one in the drop menu. I had never read this as been a possible option. I thought choosing the one that had my printer name in it was logical and had always chosen it. But now it works fine.
Don't care how - its printing and life is harmonious in the office once more
