Is there a way to make my Canon MX700 work in Linux Mint 7?

Turboprint have a driver for your Canon MX700

this will drive your printer well;

we have used turboprint: it is excellent for Canon printers; I see Canon do not offer a driver for your printer; (they do for other models);

yes, turboprint will cost you the equivalent of two linux magazines at a newsagent's shop; or perhaps two ink cartridges for your printer; but it will give you full control over printer functions;
