Epson WF7720 Printer: try the Epson drivers
welcome to the forums; should I assume you are using Mint; and would that be Mint 19?
I ask because 19 has airprint-support; so theoretically this device will be autoset up by Mint;
how about you try installing the drivers that Epson supply?
Go here http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/du/02 ... f78c49e99f and click to ACCEPT and DOWNLOAD
what will be epson-inkjet-printer-escpr2_1.0.18-1lsb3.2_i386.deb as you say you have a 32bit system
when you click to download, if the system offers to OPEN the package; accept as that means gdebi installer will do an install of the drivers for you;
if you just save it to your Downloads folder; you need to open that folder; and double-click on the package to get it installed;
to get a printer running, you usually need to 1) install the drivers and 2) register the device on lpadmin
if the actions above complete 1), (driver install), then usually it triggers Mint to do a registration for you as well
