I haven't managed to get this All-in-one printer working so far.
Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon 64 bit

If you already have an icon for this printer in your PRINTERS folder; (look and see .. it is inside the ADMINISTRATION folder.. find that from MENU bottom left ..)

.. If you already have an icon .. right-click on it; look in PROPERTIES for MAKE & MODEL: drag the window to the right so you can see all the writing;

if it does not say DX4450, then click the CHANGE button; find the DX4450 entry .. it is nearly at the bottom of the list as "Stylus DX4450"

if no entry at all; in the PRINTERS folder; click the ADD button top-left; and do the above

(This seems to be a senior citizen in the printer world; so only rpm packages as drivers; as rpm was the default linux package in Japan; in the good old days)

Instead, you will be using the open-source Gutenprint driver
