No Letter size PDF printing option in Mint 19 Cinnamon-64

Hello,
When trying to print to PDF, there is no "US Letter" size option.

There is:
US Legal
11x14
A4
and many others, but where has the "US Letter" size option gone for 8 1/2" x 11" paper?

What application are you trying to print to pdf from? does it not give you an option to just print to custom dimensions?

Ah, hah...
It's an application issue, not a Mint issue.
The Firefox version of the exact same printout gives a US Letter option, while the Google Chrome version does not.

Any ideas why Chrome isn't showing a letter option???

I'm not sure I'm afraid

Both printing to PDF in Chrome with the built in option or using the system dialog gives me the option to print to US Letter standard...

I'm getting that in Firefox, but not in Chrome.
I get the letter option in LibreOffice, etc...

so I need to look Chrome's direction see if there are answers.
