Gibberish when printing a PDF on HP2540
Printer install correct and has worked fine until I tried to print a PDF (Avery Business Card). Preview looks correct but print out is unrecognizable. Graphic prints correct, just the text is garbled.

welcome to the Mint forums; you joined today and this is your first post;
could you spell out a little more detail about things
eg I would use LibreOffice if printing an Avery item; they have Avery templates in there ..... New ........ Labels .............
I wasn't sure why pdf was mentioned ..

also: right-click on the icon for the 2540 in the PRINTERS folder; tell us what MAKE & MODEL says please ..
