Installing Canon MG3650 (Newbie)[SOLVED]

New to Linux. Have a wireless Canon MG3650 printer but only instructions on how to set up for Windows/OS. Can anyone advise how to set it up with Linus Mint please.

the plan is to 1) open a terminal and 2) copy the commands below and paste them into the terminal;( and hit the ENTER key to make each command happen ..)

1) open a terminal; click on the black tv screen on the bottom tool bar
2) to paste into the terminal, hold down the control and shift and v keys; like a piano chord but you can use two hands!

so copy each command below

tar -zxvf cnijfilter2-5.20-1-deb.tar.gz

sudo ./install.sh

and watch the terminal as it runs; as it will ask you questions; it should get everything going
