[Solved] Print test page, but _only_ the test page !

The problem was -simply- that the black cartridge was defective, and the print test do not use it.
My prints were using only in black.

It is a PC of a friend, so I do not have access 24/24!

0. Mint 17.3, HP 2050 printer.
1. Prints the CUPS and Mint test pages correctly, but output a blank page if using LibreOffice or ASCII gedit or a browser.
2. I removed and then reinstalled the printer, same behavior.
3. I tried booting a live boot Mint 18.3 (installs the driver on demand) and Mint 19 (installs the driver automatically), same behavior.
4. Same behavior on another USB port (but a neighbor port)

I suspect the hardware, but the test pages print ?

Someone has a suggestion?

Have you checked the HP site for a specific linux driver for that printer, HPLIP works for my HP laser printer.

I have a 2050 and it works fine no extra drivers installed.
