Samsung M2675 under Mint 19.1 (Cinnamon) works

Samsung Xpress M2675FN under LinuxMint 19.1 Cinnamon does work

A lot of trouble i got from all installation attempts but now let me report in addition to my earlier posting:
I describe a method that worked for me (only USB-connection), LAN option I’ve not tested as yet!

The installation of the printer driver as a 16-step procedure:

1. Before you try to add your new printer make sure that it is disconnected from your computer!
2. Then: System Settings > Hardware > Printers
3. Delete any Samsung printers of type M267x, especially M2675FN from the list of installed printers
4. Click Add > select “Generic CUPS-BRF“ > Forward
5. Samsung > ML-1651N and Driver Samsung ML-1651N-CUPS-Gutenprint...>Forward
6. Fill in what you like there and then > Apply
7. Cancel the test-page request
8. Right now connect your printer
9. You will see the entry “Generic-CUPS-BRF-Printer”
10 Go to Printer > Properties
11. On the line “Device URL” click “Change”
12. NOW Select Samsung 267x287 and click “Apply”
13. You should read the entry “usb://Samsung ...” under the Device" in the URL line.
14. Now you can print a test page.
15. This should work, click OK.
16. Rename the printer if you like.

That’s it. Hopefully

Installation of the Samsung scanner driver (Samsung license)
can be run by the ./install.sh in the Samsung driver package.
However make sure that script named “package_install.sh” in the
noarch subfolder has the execute permission. In doubt set it to all *.sh* files.

Thanx for advise. Tried that scanner portion, because printer is working without problem. No success. Scanner is still not visible.
