After some months doing things ok viewtopic.php?f=49&t=283451, my HP 1018 stopped printing. Do the same steps of the last time, but still unresponsive, only the ON led light switched on. No mayor changes/upgrades. Was running a heavy printing task (400 pages). Any clue?
Thanks!
Matías

Re: HP 1018 stopped printing... again
Check to see if the printer is showing attached USB using the following command from Terminal.
400 page job is pretty big. Any chance the job is held? Have you checked Printers - then right mouse click on the 1018 - then View Print Queue to see jobs and status?
Code: Select all

Thanks for your response! I have this:
I know nothing about USB ports but see buses 1, 4 and 5 repeated, I suppose this is abnormal and a possible cause of the failure, isn't?
