Can't install Samsung M2020 on Mint 20.1

My first question here!

I googled a lot before post this question. I could not find a way to make Mint 20.1 works with my Samsung Xpress M2020. It was working fine before I installed this version.

Cups and Samsung drivers are installed and updated, but the printer is not automatically recognized. I tried to add manually, but when I print anything the job is complete without printing.

Any help?

What version of Mint were you using before you installed Mint 20.1?
Did you upgrade from LM20 or was LM20.1 a fresh install?

I was using Mint 20 and I did a fresh and clean install.

New features in Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon in the "Printing and Scanning improvements" section indicates, "In Linux Mint 20.1 ippusbxd was removed so printing and scanning work the same way as in Linux Mint 19.x and prior releases.".

That section also links to some new notes in Linux Mint User Guide: Printers and Scanners.

Maybe some of that information will give you an idea of what is different with your LM20.1 install compared to your LM20 install and what you might need to do to get the printer working. Maybe you will need to add back the package which was in LM20, but was removed for LM20.1?
