Samsung SCX-3205 scanner don't work after printing in 20.1 (was fine in 19.3)

Post by P1nguin »

Hello to all. I have Samsung SCX-3205 and Linux Mint. It works perfectly in Mint 19.3, it's installed without any drivers and I can print and scan on it without any problems.
But it doesn't work correctly on 20 and 20.1 Mint. Steps on reproduce:

1. Power on computer and MFP.
2. Scan pages. It scan correctly. I can scan many pages without problem.
3. Print one or more pages.
4. Try to scan page. Simplescan thinks for a while, and say that scanner not found.
5. If I try to run Simplescan once more, program will say, that "need additional software. Need install driver for my scanner".

In other words, if I print page, scanner will not work without restarting MFP (or computer).
ippusbxd is not installed on Mint 20.1.
I tried to install Sane / XSane.

Before printing:

sane-find-scanner say:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04e8 [Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.], product=0x3441 [SCX-3200 Series]) at libusb:001:003

scanimage -L say:

device `xerox_mfp:libusb:001:003' is a Samsung Samsung SCX-3200 Series multi-function peripheral

After printing:

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04e8 [Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.], product=0x3441 [SCX-3200 Series]) at libusb:001:003

scanimage -L say:

No scanners were identified.

I tried to install drivers from

https://support.hp.com/ru-ru/drivers/se ... s/19135201

Install was successfully:

**** Registering SANE backend ...
**** Restarting udev ...
**** Scan driver has been installed successfully.
**** Install finished.

But behaviour was same. It's not working after print.

I tried XHCI option enabled/disabled or legacy USB enable/disable in BIOS, but it not help me.

Thanks.
