Problem to scan with gscanpdf with HP Laser | Mint 20.1 Ulyssa

Post by cleanstrom »

Hi,

I 'cant match "gscan2pdf" with my HP laser at Mint 20.1.
I still have this notice:
"Error opening device: opening device 'hpaio:/usb/HP_Neverstop_Laser_MFP_120x?serial=CNBRN2B0Q1': Error during device I/O"

Does anyone out there have a solution for the terminal?

Thank you for help,

c.

 hplip-plugin is not a plugin related to connection interface, it is required to use some features on some devices or for better printing.

I don't know about you, but I will have nothing to do with HPLIP. If that does not suit you, stop now.

gscanpdf is a distraction. We will forget about it for now.

A wireless connection with the printer is easier to deal with. Would you set one up?

You can install it with following commands.

Code: Select all

wget https://developers.hp.com/sites/default/files/hplip-3.20.11-plugin.run
sudo hp-plugin -p ./hplip-3.20.11-plugin.run
Or You can also install with that package. https://launchpad.net/~kelebek333/+arch ... _amd64.deb
