Hello,
I am not sure if this the proper forum for my question since I don't actually want to use this printer or even ever connected it to my laptop. However a few minutes ago a device listed as a printer named Canon_T6300_series first installed itself and keeps on installing itself even after I removed it in the printer settings. I've been running Linux only for a couple of weeks so I am not really familiar with Lunix but this behaviour strikes me as kind of odd. Should I be worried? Do you have any ideas how to stop it?
I am running Linux Mint 20.1 and Windows 10 on this machine. I do use a Keyocera fs-1120 D though.
Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect you have a neighbor who has a wireless printer, which may be showing up on your available list.Graf Zahl wrote: Do you have any ideas how to stop it?
Try: System > Printers > View > Discovered Printers (uncheck)

That helped. Thanks a lot.
