Recently upgraded to Mint 20 but now my HP envy 5530 (wireless ) is slow to print, it used to work no problem in 19.3.When I send a job to print I get an exclamation mark on the printer icon in the panel followed by a message saying :- Status file source not found, but then eventually after a delay the job will print.
I have reinstalled printer and HPlip and HPlip-gui but this hasn't made any difference. Is this something i'll have to put up with or is the fix to the delay?
Thanks.

Re: printing delay
You can try to disable IPV6 for HP device from network interface . https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing- ... -p/5631454
To disable IPv6, access the Embedded Web Server (EWS) on the printer, and then select Enable IPv4 only as illustrated below.
Re: printing delay
Ok will try that thanks.
Re: printing delay
That didn't work because printer was no longer on the network.

Re: printing delay
You can try that for disabling IPV6. viewtopic.php?p=2004475#p2004475
Re: printing delay
Well tried disabling by command lines which allowed the printer to still work but didn't fix the delay.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: printing delay
Eventually got round to trying your suggestion of removing from IP v6 and using IPv4 the printer was still on the network and printed without any error message but still delay of about 30 seconds but I'll put up with that.
Thanks for your help much appreciated.
