Which printer manufacturer provides best Linux Mint support?
My printer died and I am looking for a new reasonably priced monochrome printer with duplex printing.
I have had success with Hewlett Packard P1102w which unfortunately had to go on the scrap pile. I am concerned that new HP printers now require HP manufactured and chipped toner cartridges. $$$
I tried an Epson ET-3710 printer which I could not connect to Linux Mint.
Any insight/suggestions on Brother, Cannon, Lexmark and other printers?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Which printer manufacturer provides best LinuxMint support
Most/all modern printers should provide 'driverless printing'. Having said that, I've never had a problem with brother, their linux support is good and I still do it the old-fashioned way and install their drivers.
