Post by Blogdrott »

Installed Canon-i-SENSYS-LBP6030B-UFRII-LT-Printer-Driver-for-Linux Successfully. NO error reports. I have bought this printer today. Prints test sheet ok! Does not print any other document word ,odf, pdf . Running Linux int 20.2 Cinnamon. Tells user the doc is now printing, which it isn't, then tells user the doc has completed. which it hasn't.System is Mint 20.3 Cinnamon with all drivers updates etc. Terminal says all connections fine.

so that is a second-hand printer? I can find reviews for it from 2014; I am thinking it predates "driverless"

https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/canon-imageclass-lbp6030w

how it is connected to your computer?

How many icons are there for it in the PRINTERS folder?

No its new out of the box I didn't review it. The drivers are from Canon as described in my post. DO you have any ideas then? Only one icon. USB connection

its new out of the box
gosh, that surprises me: seems to be at least from 2014

where did you get the driver?

if you open the icon, in the PRINTERS folder; right-click on PROPERTIES and drag the window to the right, so one can see all of the space

can you enclose a screenshot, or copy and paste the text of both lines;

meanwhile if you try

Code: Select all

apt install ipp-usb
