Connecting computers with LM and Win

Post by linuxalex »

I have two computers. The first with Linux Mint Xfce 19.2 64 bit, the second with Windows XP Professional 32 bit. I want to connect them with each other. And I desire to have the access from Linux to Windows. I need not the back access. I want to open the disk D on Windows from Linux and copy some folders there from Linux. How could I make this? Should I use Samba, or can I made this without it? Thank you in advance for the answers.
