Wired network shows "cable unplugged"

Post by lucas_neuhaus »

Hi,
I can't seem to get my wired connection to work, it always shows "cable unplugged". I tried searching A LOT for an answer but nothing seems to work.
In the beginning, I thought it could be a hardware issue, so I bought an RJ45 USB adaptor, but still nothing.
Wi-fi works fine.

Tried it. Didn't change anything.

Is there a different ethernet port you can try? You can also try:

Code: Select all

 sudo ifconfig enp2s0 up
If neither of those, maybe you need the 5.8 kernel.
