Re: Imposiible to connect to the wifi extender

Post by Larry78723 »

Please open a terminal window and enter these 2 commands

Code: Select all

wget -N -t 5 -T 10 https://github.com/UbuntuForums/wireless-info/raw/master/wireless-info && chmod +x wireless-info && ./wireless-info

Code: Select all

cat wireless-info.txt | nc termbin.com 9999
After a pause, a termbin.com URL will appear in the Terminal window. Paste that URL into a reply

Silly me.
The extender is Netgear WN3000RPv3.
I also forgot to tell that with the old router the extender worked with every device. The problem presented with the new router.

Did you set up a different SSID for the connection to the Netgear WN3000RPv3?
