Don't know, but you are correct.
Installing in a VB guest 19.3 gives same errors as you.
Installing in the host 20.2 works perfectly..

I was looking to get the "underground" viewpoint, as the browsers introduce a bit of lag.

my ISP is on a wireless carrier, and speed is "relative to how bad I want it";
the worse I want it, the slower it downloads, never fails.
