Just rebuilt my main system with some new components and did a clean re-install of V20.2. Then started adding some packages I need but hit a problem almost immediately.
Installed VirtualBox so I could have a Win10 Guest for a couple of bits of software that only run in Windows and once I had completed the new VM I lost Internet access on the Host. Tried a variety of steps around the Network setup to sort it out but it was only once I deleted the VM that I could reach out to all those playful kitten websites once again. It didn't even mattter that the Guest was in a Powered Off state.
The VM had been built 'out of the Box' so with networking set to NAT etc etc and this is not an issue I have experienced before.
Not sure whether I try again or go to a different VM package. I know that Wine/Crossover etc do not work here so it needs to be a Win10 VM
Any thoughts?
