I just installed Linux Mint and it is not seeing my wireless card. I found this post and tried the steps listed to no avail. I am a complete newb and just can't figure out why my driver doesn't appear to be there. I'm not sure what to do next or what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help me get this figured out and working?
Here is the output from issuing the commands previously listed in the thread.

It just isn't seeing my wireless card and when I look at my network options, only shows wired network. I try to add it manually from the network icon in the tray. I unplug my ethernet and it doesn't give any indication of a wifi connection available. Any advise on how I can get it to recognize my wireless? Appreciate the response and help!
You need to disable secure boot in Bios. Maybe this helps:
"How do I access Asustek BIOS?
While the computer isn't powered on yet, press and hold the [F2] button of the keyboard, and then press the [Power button] (Do not release F2 button until the BIOS configuration display.)."
Thank you for the instruction on how to disable secure boot, which I now have done. I still do not see the option to use my WiFi. I unplugged my ethernet and rebooted w/o it, not seeing a toggle or any way to enable my WiFi connection. Is there another command I need to run to get it to kick in?

Ran the command requested, put in my password, and it returned to the prompt (no output). This was a Windows 10 machine, but I wiped it out when I loaded Linux Mint.
Pardon me for asking a possibly silly question, but is wlan aka wireless ethernet ENABLED in your uefi/bios? My old 2015 dell laptop's bios has a setting that lets me enable or disable it as well as my main rig ( x570 taichi asrock mobo ...intel a/c wifi).
If that is disabled in uefi/bios it doesn't matter what other magic you work as your system won't recognize the wifi/wlan card ( doesn't matter if it's a dedicated card OR a chip soldered to the motherboard as well ) as it won't even let that part power up upon post-P.O.S.T. - ing when it's the moment of dealing with an OS boot loader.

I've turned off fast boot. I don't see anywhere in the bios to check for the wlan being enabled/disabled. However, it should be up based on this info (if I am reading it right):
