Switched Back To Ethernet...but <SOLVED>

Post by loybanks »

Got tired of troubles with WiFi for the time being so have switched back to Ethernet. Generally works fine but each time I reboot it pops up "Not Connecting".

It is jockeying back and forth between Ethernet and WiFi. Apparently needs input from me somewhere...but where?

Then goes to message..."requesting an Ethernet Network Address for "Wired Connection". So any ideas how I correct this? As always my thanks.

Quite a thorough reference... #4 is

Enter the following on the command line in your terminal window:

Code: Select all

which presents you with a graphic menu right in the terminal. Tab and up/down arrow keys are used for navigation.

You can close this one. I've decided to go back to WiFi maybe. Thanks so much to all.
