Can't connect to wired network after manually disconnected

Post by alro7779 »

Hi, everyone.
I have this question... why my wired network can't reconnect if it is disconnected manually? You know, I was trying to do something with no Internet connection, so I disconnected my wired network through the Network Manager (right click and unchecked Enable Networking), but when I tried to reconnect it (right click and checked Enable Networking), it does not connect. I logged out and login, but the same. I had to reboot my machine in order to have network access again. Why is this happening? I'd like to be able to disconnect and reconnect through Network Manager (or whatever software) whenever I want without being affected by this issue. Any ideas, guys? Is it normal on Linux?
