Wifi not working (randomly) - Linux Mint 20.3 [Solved]

Post by lucassg »

Hello there!

I already have seen many wifi posts, but i can't seem to get it working, so i would really appreciate some help. Has to be noted that my Wifi stops working "randomly"; from time to time I boot my computer and WiFi stops working (has dualboot - Windows 10 always works, so i guess is a driver thing).

Here I post the output from

Code: Select all

 sudo lshw -C network
For the record I'm using WiFi from my phone (USB connected) while this command was runned.

Code: Select all

Please post the output of the following command:

Here is how to generate the output and post it:

Open a terminal window (Ctrl-Alt-t). Make it fullscreen to avoid unneeded linebreaks or chopped lines. Copy the following code and paste into the terminal (Ctrl-Shft-V) then hit Enter/Return:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxpmrz && lsusb && lspci && rfkill list all && mokutil --sb-state

Go to Edit, Select All, and then Copy, come back here, click on reply then code tags, </>, and then paste.

The results will help us to help you.

You might need to disable Fast Startup in Win power options:

This has totally solved my problem!

I realized when I normally shut down Windows, the problem appeared, but when entering into Linux from a Windows reset, Wi-Fi worked.
Currently running windows 11 and Linux Mint 20.3 (Kernel 5.13).

Thank you very much for the fast response!!!
