[SOLVED] Pure layer 2 bridge for wifi access point (RPI3, but any linux will work)

Post by flyingrhino »

Not a linux-mint related item, but I wanted to create the simplest bridge possible to extend wifi from a wired network.
Most tutorials on the web talk about installing dnsmasq, iptables for nat and other stuff that is overkill if you want your existing router to do all of this.

So I wrote a simple guide to help others who have the same requirement.
Hope it helps our community.

Enjoy.
