I have edited my post to fit with guidelines. I don't know if this has been an issue before, I am not sure if others have my same system setup?

Install the 5.15 kernel in Update Manager, View, Linux Kernels & reboot. Hopefully, that will solve it.

Yes it might, the hardware is too new for kernel 5.4 but I don't know about the level of support for the realtek 2.5GbE being baked into even that kernel module set.

2.5G Ethernet LINUX driver r8125 for kernel up to 5.17 from here may be necessary. current version is 9.009.01, 2022/06/01 for clarity which download.

Yeah, I'm not sure either. But. no harm to try the 5.15 kernel first & see how it goes.

There's a thread on the main Ubuntu forum about it, they ended up installing the upstream realtek driver. Maybe kernel 5.18 introduces support natively? It's not been out long so either that or realtek have not updated the driver on their site yet.
